Richard A. Rogers is the Managing Partner of Venable Royalty, Ltd.  His great uncle, R.H. “Buzz” Venable, started buying mineral royalty rights in East Texas in the late 1920's. He received his degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1981 in Petroleum Engineering.

After college, Richard worked for Amoco Production Company and Sabine Corporation, an independent oil producer. Richard currently lives in Dallas with his wife and two children.
